Born in 30th June 1919, ( Newmarket Q3-1919 3B:646) the son of Benjamin James and Louisa WILSON (née HOGG) of Exning.
His father Benjamin J [28/8/1985] and engine driver; mother Louisa [17/5/1989]; sisters Joan H (later MASTERS)[13/9/1922] and Sheila M (later LEWIS) [9/9/1927] were living at Abbey Cottage, Laceys Lane, Exning in 1939. One closed record. Bryan had been a footman before joining the Army.

He died whilst a prisoner of the Japanese on the Burma Railway.

He was initially buried in Tambaya Cemetery 9 and re-interred in January 1946 in Thanbyuzayat War Cemetery. Tambaya was the site of a hospital 53 km south of Thanbyuzayat, but sadly many patients were so advanced in their illnesses by the time they got there that their chance of survival was always small.

He was a cousin of Russell WILSON and William WILSON
